Volunteer Positions

On A Mission, Inc is currently seeking motivated, committed and professional individuals who can serve a minimum of two hours per week during after-school hours to help youth build literacy skills while developing essential core character values.

This is an excellent opportunity to have a significant positive impact on the academic and social success of youth by fostering appreciation and enjoyment of literature and the desire to read, working to enhance vocabulary and the ability to express ideas, and promoting the values of helpfulness, fairness, personal responsibility and respect for others.

How To Become A Volunteer

  2. INTERVIEW. An opportunity to discuss your volunteer interests and time availability.
  3. SCREENING. All volunteers must complete a fingerprint background investigation. There is no fee incurred by volunteers.
  4. VOLUNTEERS. An opportunity to learn about our history, philosophy, programs and volunteer policy.
